IHS ESDU Physical properties of design atmospheres. 78008

Description
ESDU 78008 tabulates the density, temperature and geopotential altitude against pressure and pressure altitude for five design atmospheres each defined by a different temperature profile. The atmospheres are the International Standard (see also ESDU 68046 and 72018 for data for performance calculations, ESDU 77021 for properties in greater detail and ESDU 77022 for computation equations), tropical maximum, temperate and Arctic maximum, tropical and temperate minimum, and Arctic minimum. Two tables are given, one for altitudes in metres for pressure altitude from 0 to 20 000 m in 500 m intervals and one for altitudes in feet for pressure altitude from 0 to 65 000 ft in intervals of 1000 ft.
