ESDU 74029 gives methods of applying the friction factor data of ESDU 66027 to the case of isothermal or adiabatic flow of a gas. The procedure to be followed is indicated in each case by a calculation flowchart, and data are provided in graphical form for gas specific heat capacity ratios from 1 to 1.67 to assist in the calculations. A program of the method is provided (ESDUpac A7429).
