IHS ESDU The fatigue strength at high endurance of notched low alloy steel specimens (in bending and under axial loading, zero mean stress). 74016

Description
ESDU 74016 plots the results, drawn from many sources, of constant amplitude fatigue tests on steel specimens with various types of stress raisers. The data are shown as fatigue strength (for endurances exceeding one million cycles) plotted against tensile strength in two separate graphs, one for axial loading and one for bending. Details of all the materials and of the geometries of all the specimens used are included.
