ESDU 70007 gives the cross-sectional dimensions for minimum weight of uniform compression panels having unflanged integral stiffeners. Data are also given for determining the dimensions of the panel of least weight when one or more of the cross-sectional dimensions is fixed or restricted. An allowance is made for the effects of initial irregularities and plasticity correction factors are included.
