ESDU 69008 presents curves of gross thrust and mass flow parameters for use with the total- and static-pressure sampling methods for measurement of thrust and mass flow in flight which are described in ESDU 69007. Values are also given for the ratio of specific heat capacities for the products of combustion for various fuel/air mixtures. A worked example is included to show the use of the curves in determining the in-flight thrust of a turbo-jet engine.
