The Dytran series 3056 is a cost effective, single axis IEPE accelerometer offered in sensitivities from 10 to 500 mV/g . The series includes models with TEDS capabilities as well as models with an extended operating temperature range of 325°F (163°C). This series is characterized by low noise, high resonant frequencies (> 25 kHz), a tight sensitivity specification of ±5%, and a frequency response of 1 Hz to 10 kHz. Design of the series 3056 features a ceramic shear sensing element packaged within a rugged titanium housing, and incorporates a 10-32 top connector and 10-32 stud mounting capabilities. Series 3056 features true base isolation to avoid EMI/ground loop interference and incorporate low noise JFET electronics. Units are also hermetically sealed for reliable performance in high humidity and dirty environments.
