The Dytran series 2300 is an IEPE probe-style pressure sensor, designed for reliable operation in temperatures up to +250°F (+121°C). The sensors are acceleration compensated to reduce the risk of spurious ambient vibration signals adding to signal output, thus enhancing the transducer's natural frequency, which facilitates an ultra fast rise time.
Available with a full scale range from 250 to 15,000 psi, design of the Dytran series 2300V incorporates a stable quartz sensing element operating in compression mode, packaged in a rugged one-piece stainless steel housing with external 5/16-24 mounting thread and weighing just 7 grams. Units are especially recommended for use in installations in which there is no chance of the series 2300V twisting apart during removal. Since it is manufactured as a single piece, the sensors are easily removed from the mounting port by simply rotating the sensor body in a counterclockwise direction.
