Long Life GC Autosampler Septa are designed for use with GC Autosamplers. The 5, 9, 11 and 11.5 mm diameter Long Life septa are available with our unique pre-pierced center depression which guides the syringe needle to the same injection point, extending septa life, reducing needle bending and eliminates the common type of coring that occures on the first injection. These septa are ideal for standard manual-injection GC and GC-MS. Septa are 3 mm thick, except Shimadzu-style plug septa. Septa are packaged in glass jars.
The 9.5, 12.7 and 17 mm diameter Long Life septa are supplied without the unique center depression, but still provide outstanding longevity at inlet temperatures up to 400°C. Injection life of 400+ injections can be achieved with proper care and use of the HAMILTON dual gauge needle GC autosampler syringes.
