For added safety Glas-Col has introduced the Large Capacity Stirmantle with an air drive magnetic stirring system. This mantle is similar in construction to all aluminum housed Glas-Col mantles with the exception of the air motor drive and outlet box.
All LC stirmantles feature:
Rigid housing provides strength and durability while supporting the weight of the vessel
Fabric interior to softly nestle glass vessels and reduce the chance of thermal shock
Adaptable to most vessels including larger sizes
Withstands 400° C internal operating termperature, enough power for most applications
Can be adapted to special applications with custom sizes
Air drive magnetic motor
Conduit aluminum outlet box for hard wire or extension cord connection
Mantles furnished with one 1/4" NPT fitting for purging
