Model SP-245 Accu-Max Spinning Riffler offers accuracy for aggregates, coal or ores up to 2in (50.8mm) topsize. The unit works equally well for finer materials and powders in large starting volumes. Eight samples of 1/8 are collected in special pans on a 14rpm (12rpm at 50Hz) constant-speed turntable driven by a precision 1/3hp gearmotor. Feed rate is adjustable by variable amplitude 120 Watt vibratory feeder and by positioning of the exit gate from the 1.8ft³ (51L) hopper. The 6.5in (165mm) wide slide gate opening adjusts from 0-4in (0-102mm), and a lock knob retains the setting. Hopper, gate, feeder trough, and the eight 0.32ft³ (9L) collection pans (all contact parts) are quality stainless steel. Pans have an overlapping deflector lip on one side to form cutting edges and prevent loss of fines. Extra pans of 1/8 and double-sized 1/4 are available.
