Gilson offers a wide selection of cube and prism molds for use with cement, mortar, grout, and capping compound. Metal molds meet most ASTM and AASHTO specifications, but lighter plastic molds often suffice for internal QC programs. All molds are 3-gang except for single specimen, 6in (152mm) and 150mm single molds. Bronze Cube Molds Forged 2in (51mm) and 50mm cube molds are accurately machined for casting cubes in a diagonal arrangement. Wing-nut clamps secure mold halves to the detachable brass base plate. This is the mold of choice for testing of sulfur mortar capping compound cubes when fitted with HM-299 brass cover plate.
