The X-LED inspection systems feature a color CMOS sensor with either a 0 degree straight forward angle of view, or a permanent 90 degree perpendicular side-view. Both camera chips feature intelligent image enhancement controls, built in LED illumination with 3 brightness settings, a color temperature of 6500K, and 5000 hours of illumination per lamp.
The live image from the X-LED borescope can be easily displayed on a few different devices. The iCapture portable dvr is a 5” LCD monitor, with an SD memory card for image and video capture, on-screen menus, comparative measurement, a digital zoom, text annotation for captured files, and a rechargeable battery, this would be the most portable option with the best features. However, there is also an option to use an adapter that would run to a 12V DC power adapter, and an RCA video cable to directly connect to a TV/monitor to display the live image, or a USB capture box to import the live image to a computer/laptop and capture images/video.
The insertion probe of the X-LED is available in either a 3.0mm (0.12 inch) or 4.0mm (0.16 inch) diameter, with a waterproof, multilayer tungsten braid over a polyurethane jacket. The probes feature 2-way tip articulation, 130 degrees in each direction, and a probe length of 1.5 meters (4.9 ft.).
