The ultrasonic flow meter FLUXUS® ADM 8127 has been specifically designed for Offshore and Mining applications The ADM 8127 flow meter's housing is made entirely of Stainless Steel. It is permanently seawater and seaspray-proof and ATEX approved for use in explosive hazard zones 1 and 2. All electronic components are in a flameproof enclosure.The terminals and terminal boxes are designed with protection type Ex-e "increased safety". The flowmeter can be equipped with various outputs to be used for process control and is operated easily by a magnetic pen without having to open the casing. Features: Ultrasonic flowmeter with 1 or 2 flow channels and ATEX approval for Zone 1 & 2 Installation and operation without having to open the enclosure Rugged, seawater-proof Field-enclosure; Terminal boxes Ex-e Installation without process shut-down during plant operations Low Lifecycle costs Stable and reliable measurement results even under difficult conditions thanks to an unique signalprocessing Flexible configurable Outputs Extended status informations Stainless steel, Offshore-proof mounting fixture (PermaLok Track) and Ex-d cable connections Measurement at up to 750°F hot pipes by using the patented WaveInjector Solution
