Special opposing die roll arbors Built in 1998 This highly specialized rolling mill is used for the forming and production of critically dimensioned sector vanes for use in the manufacture of aircraft engines. The programmed 360 degree roll arbor rotation allows for the opposing dies inserted in the arbors to roll-form the part, thereby eliminating very expensive, time consuming press and machining operations.
