17" diameter x 14" face rolls with 2-3/4" diameter baby roll insert Built in 2002 Provided with gaging, take-up and AGC controls, this mill is used for hot bonding steel, aluminum and cooper strip for production of components for the automotive industry. The rolling mill is supplied with an external roll heating system, internal roll cooling and a special gearbox where the upper roll can be decoupled via an internal pneumatic clutch allowing full rolling torque to be transmitted through the lower roll only.
