This resin is commonly utilized as a blend partner with LDPE resins to enhance film properties and processability. The product features a density of 0.918 g/cm² and a melt index of 1.0 g/10 min, making it suitable for various applications. It is particularly effective in agricultural films, barrier food packaging, and general packaging solutions, including heavy-duty bags and stand-up pouches. In terms of mechanical properties, LL1001xBU exhibits a tensile strength at yield of 1300 psi in the machine direction and 1400 psi in the transverse direction. It also demonstrates significant elongation at break, with values of 510% and 690% for the respective directions. The resin is available in pellet form and contains additives such as antiblock and slip agents.
