ExxonMobil,Ñ¢ C4LL 20025.17, also known as ExxonMobil,Ñ¢ LLDPE LL 6100.17, is a narrow molecular weight butene copolymer designed for applications requiring easy processability. This resin exhibits excellent toughness and tear resistance, making it suitable for freezer applications in food packaging. The product has a density of 0.925 g/cm¬= and a melt index of 20 g/10 min at 190¬8C under a load of 2.16 kg. Its peak melting temperature is 250¬8F (121¬8C), and it has a Vicat softening temperature of 189¬8F (87¬8C). The tensile strength at yield is 1900 psi (13 MPa), with an elongation at break of 360%. The material demonstrates good environmental stress-crack resistance, lasting 110 hours under specific testing conditions. This resin is available in pellet form and includes a thermal stabilizer but does not contain antiblock or slip additives. It is suitable for various applications, including closures, dispensers, and housewares.
