Enable™ 2010CB Cast is an ethylene 1-hexene copolymer designed for cast film processing. This performance polymer offers a balanced combination of processing and film properties, including tensile strength, impact resistance, and puncture resistance. The formulation is heavily stabilized, making it suitable for various applications such as agricultural film, food packaging, heavy-duty bags, and multilayer packaging films.
The product is available in pellet form and has a density of 0.920 g/cm³ and a melt index of 1.0 g/10 min at 190°C under a 2.16 kg load. Its peak melting temperature is 237°F (114°C), and it has a Vicat softening temperature of 223°F (106°C). It is important to note that Enable™ 2010CB does not contain antiblock, slip, or processing aid additives, but it does include a thermal stabilizer. Compliance with food contact applications should be verified with ExxonMobil, as this product is not intended for medical applications.
