The EBC 35 Modulating Pressure Control is a draft and pressure control device that can monitor and maintain a constant draft or pressure by varying the speed of a fan or the position of an actuator. The control is capable of controlling multiple functions simultaneously. It could be exhaust fan and supply fan, or fan and damper etc.
It is a true PID-based control with infinitely variable speed settings. It has an integrated CO monitoring device. It is typically interlocked with the operation of a heating appliance and prevents appliance operation during emergencies where a mechanical or electrical problem occurs, or if the installation site's CO concentration reaches danger levels. Multiple CO-sensors can be piggy-backed in large mechanical rooms.
The EBC 35 is typically used in applications where there are multiple heating appliances or where additional safety is required. It can control the exhaust rate and the combustion air supply rate simultaneously.
The control includes a differential pressure sensor with dual-transducers for additional safety, a CO-sensor, and a stack probe.
