The GGB-CBM™ Thin-Walled Bimetallic Bearings are designed for high-load applications across various industries, including mechanical engineering, food and beverage, and construction. These bearings feature a self-lubricating design with a solid lubricant (graphite) uniformly distributed in the sliding layer, eliminating the need for maintenance. They can operate effectively within a temperature range of -150°C to 280°C.
The bearings are available with different metallic backings, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and bronze, and lead-free alloy options are also offered. The maximum load capacity and performance characteristics are suitable for demanding environments, with a maximum sliding speed of 0.3 to 0.5 m/s and a coefficient of friction ranging from 0.10 to 0.20. Custom bearing forms can be manufactured to meet specific project requirements.
