GGB DU™ Cylindrical Bushes - Inch Size 0610DU

Description
Our metal-backed, PTFE-based (polytetrafluoroethy lene) polymer bearing materials have a common structure, consisting of a metal backing bonded to a porous bronze sinter layer. This bronze sinter layer is impregnated and overlaid with the filled PTFE bearing lining. The metal backing provides mechanical strength, while the bronze sinter layer provides a strong mechanical bond between the backing and the bearing lining. This construction promotes dimensional stability and improves thermal conductivity. These polymer bearing linings, being predominantly PTFE, offer exceptionally low friction.

The DU¬Æ Cylindrical Bushes - Inch Size, specifically part number 0610DU, are designed for a variety of industrial applications including aerospace, agricultural equipment, and food processing machinery. These self-lubricating bushings provide excellent wear resistance and low friction performance under a wide range of loads, speeds, and temperatures, particularly in dry running conditions. They are suitable for linear, oscillating, and rotating movements and are approved for use in interior aircraft applications according to Federal Aviation Regulations FAR 25.853 and FAR 25.855. The maximum dynamic load capacity is 36,000 psi, with a maximum operating temperature of 536¬8F. The bushings can accommodate sliding speeds up to 1,000 fpm and have a coefficient of friction ranging from 0.02 to 0.25, depending on operating conditions. The product is available in standard dimensions and can be customized to meet specific requirements. The recommended shaft surface roughness is Ra ,⧠2-16 Oºin, and the hardness should exceed 200 HB for optimal performance.
