GGB Metal-Polymer Anti-Friction Bearings 0303 DP4®

The DP4 metal-polymer anti-friction bearing is a lead-free, dry-running plain bearing suitable for linear, oscillating, and rotating movements in automotive, industrial, and aerospace applications. It complies with RoHS, ELV, and WEEE standards and is approved to DIN EN 1797:2002-02 and ISO 21010:2004-04 for use in oxygen systems up to 60°C and 25 bar, as well as FAR 25.853 and FAR 25.855 for aircraft interiors. The bearing operates from -200°C to 280°C, supports static loads up to 250 N/mm² and dynamic loads up to 140 N/mm², and achieves a coefficient of friction between 0.04 and 0.25 in dry conditions, or 0.02 and 0.08 when oil-lubricated. Maximum sliding speed is 2.5 m/s dry and 5.0 m/s lubricated. Shaft surface roughness should be 0.3-0.5 μm for dry operation and ≤0.40 μm for lubricated use. The bearing is available in cylindrical, flanged, and thrust washer forms, with no specific dimensions provided for 0303 DP4®.
