The CentriFlow line of mass flow meters configured in the Inline Flow orientation can be used for a variety of applications and for a wide range of flow rates, densities, products and particle sizes. While most products and applications fit comfortably into the ranges of the standard CentriFlow Meter, several variations of the Type I Meter are also available so that there is a CentriFlow Meter for nearly any application.
The CentriFlow® Type I Meter, just as all CentriFlow® brand meters, is a mass flow meter designed for measuring bulk solids continuously within a process. The Type I Meter is perfect for measuring relatively free-flowing, larger particle materials such as granules, pellets or even chips or snack foods and is specifically designed to be installed directly after feed devices such as belts or vibratory conveyors.

While most products and applications fit comfortably into the ranges of the standard CentriFlow Meter, several variations of the Type I Meter are also available, making a CentriFlow Meter for nearly every application.
