The ECX-53B is a miniature surface mount crystal with a 3.2 mm by 5 mm footprint, designed for space-constrained wireless applications. It operates in fundamental mode with a frequency range of 8.000 to 50.000 MHz, has a shunt capacitance of 5 pF, and supports load capacitances of 8 to 20 pF. The drive level is 100 μW maximum. Frequency tolerance at +25°C is ±30 ppm, and frequency stability over the operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C is ±50 ppm. Aging is ±5 ppm maximum over the first year at +25°C. The package is RoHS compliant, has an MSL rating of 1, and features gold finish. It uses a four-pad layout with pins 1 and 3 interchangeable as In/Out and Ground on pins 2 and 4.
