The CSM-8Q is a compact SMD crystal with a 7.0 x 5.0 mm footprint, designed for automotive and high-reliability applications. It operates over a temperature range of -55 to +125°C and is AEC-Q200 qualified. The device supports fundamental mode oscillation from 8.000 to 36.000 MHz, with a shunt capacitance of 7 pF and a maximum drive level of 100 μW. Frequency stability is ±100 ppm for the DU option, and equivalent series resistance is 60 Ω max for 8.000-15.999 MHz and 40 Ω max for 16.000-36.000 MHz. Load capacitance is specified in the part number, with options of 10 pF or 20 pF. The 4-pad package has interchangeable input/output pins (pads 1 and 3) and is RoHS compliant.
