Steelflex roll up covers are available in medium and heavy-duty construction and operate low deflection over wide spans. A standard-duty Steelflex cover offers way protection against hot chip and coolant loads and a walk-on duty Steelflex is a load-bearing, heavy-duty cover that can be used to cover machine or inspection pits to help prevent the hazard of workers falling into a pit. Both styles consist of a stainless steel top surface with aluminum or steel extrusions bonded to the underside for strength and support.
