DynaMatic EHG2 series of electrically actuated lead-free brass valves offers an excellent option for automated potable water applications. All EHG2 series actuated units not only comply with the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) requiring plumbing fittings or fixtures dispensing water for human ingestion to contain less than 0.8% lead, they also go a step above and restrict lead content to 0.25% lead. Currently only California (CA AB1953) and Vermont (S.152) mandate lead free valves for potable water applications; however, all 50 states will be required to comply with this new 0.25% requirement by January 4, 2014. The EHG2 series use our DE and MA series electrical actuators. Available voltages include 120VAC, 230VAC, 24VAC, 24VDC, and 24VDC.
