DuPont Suva MP66 is an HCFC-based refrigerant for R-500 systems. It can also be used instead of MP39 for retrofit of R-12 in low-temperature stationary positive displacement systems such as commercial freezers where higher capacity is needed [works best <-15°F (-26°C) evaporator]. MP66 is also used in some R-12 transport refrigeration systems. Field experience has shown that no oil change is needed in many unitary and close-coupled systems.
