The A 2B 7-S150 is a worm gear speed reducer with a 15:1 ratio, designed for 1800 rpm input and delivering 120 lb-in of output torque. It features a solid output shaft with a 0.312-inch diameter and a 0.031-inch flat, and is housed in a compression-molded glass-fill polyester case with bronze-driven gears and sintered bronze bearings. The unit measures 3-3/8 inches high, 3-7/8 inches wide, and 3 inches deep, and weighs approximately 28 ounces. Input and output shafts are sealed and prelubricated with grease. Peak output speed is 120 rpm. Output shaft dimensions and mounting holes comply with the dimensional specification provided for the series.

Our MGX gearheads are attachable to the U.S. Bureau of Ordnance (Bu-Ord for short) frame-size servomotors without modifications to the input pinions and without complicated adapters, screw threads, etc., thanks to the versatile mounting clamps supplied. Mounting dimensions are identical to Bu-Ord OP 1755 motor dimensions.
Our speed reducers are offered in low and zero backlash options, with single- and double-ended shafts. They are available in Bu-Ord sizes 11, 15, and 18 and with an O.D. of 1-1/16”, 1-7/16”, and 1-3/4”.
