Molded miter gears with 24 teeth and 48 pitch, made of acetal, feature a 0.500-inch pitch diameter, 0.529-inch outside diameter, a 3/8-inch bore, a 3/8-inch hub length, and a 1/4-inch hub projection. The gears operate with a 20° pressure angle and are sold as a set.
Standard straight-tooth miter gears are a type of bevel gear set that has a 1:1 ratio, identical dimensions, and the same number of teeth, allowing them to mate with one another and transmit rotational motion at a 90° angle. Although the number of teeth in a spiral miter gear set is the same, the twisting directions are different, preventing them from mating with one another. Our straight-tooth miter gears are manufactured utilizing a CNC Coniflex® interlocking cutting system. Spiral miter gears must be paired with one right-hand thread and one left-hand thread.
