Molded bevel gear with 48 pitch, 36 teeth, and a 1:2 ratio, designed for power transmission at a 20° pressure angle. Made of nylon, it has a pitch diameter of 0.750 inch, outside diameter of 0.765 inch, and bore diameter of 0.187 inch. Hub length is 0.187 inch, and the hub is 3/16 inch thick with a 7/16 inch hub projection. The bore is a blind hole located 7/16 inch from the hub end.
Standard straight-tooth miter gears are a type of bevel gear set that has a 1:1 ratio, identical dimensions, and the same number of teeth, allowing them to mate with one another and transmit rotational motion at a 90° angle. Although the number of teeth in a spiral miter gear set is the same, the twisting directions are different, preventing them from mating with one another. Our straight-tooth miter gears are manufactured utilizing a CNC Coniflex® interlocking cutting system. Spiral miter gears must be paired with one right-hand thread and one left-hand thread.
