The R22 is a 22 mm diameter planetary gearhead with a maximum output torque of 0.6 Nm and a sleeve bearing option. It offers gear ratios from 5.75:1 to 1090:1, with a length of 40 mm for the 190:1 ratio model. The maximum input speed is 5,000 rpm, and the operating temperature range is -30 to +65 °C. Backlash is 3° under 0.3 Nm load, with radial shaft play not exceeding 25 μm and axial play between 50 and 150 μm. Maximum radial force is 10 N at 8 mm from the mounting face, and maximum axial force is 10 N. The gearhead is designed for use with compatible Portescap motors.
