The M-Sense22i is an incremental magnetic encoder with a 10-pin Quickie II connector conforming to DIN 41651 A, offering resolutions from 1 to 1024 lines per revolution and a maximum speed of 120,000 rpm. It operates on a 4.5 to 5.5 V supply with a maximum current draw of 23 mA, provides RS422 line driver outputs at up to 10 MHz, and features an integral non-linearity of 1.5°. The encoder has a rise/fall time of 60 ns, an electrical phase shift of 90° ±45° for resolutions up to 256 LPR, and a duty cycle of 50% ±15% for the same range. It operates from -40°C to +105°C and weighs 6 g. The output signal is carried on an AWG28 ribbon cable with 1.27 mm pitch.
