Dymax 9701 optical display adhesive cures upon exposure to UV/Visible light and is designed for use in flat panel displays where re-workability and non-yellowing characteristics are important. Bondable substrates include glass and PET. Typical applications include optical display bonding and lamination of small hand-held screens, touch screens, and large display screens. This material is easily re-workable for removal or repair by conventional methods such as wire cutting while maintaining its bond strength over time. This can significantly increase yield and reduce display screen rejects. This non-yellowing adhesive maintains optical clarity over time for better performance and aesthetics and exhibits low shrinkage to minimize visible distortion after cure. Dymax materials have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency. Dymax lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures. This product is in full compliance with the RoHS Directives 2002/95/EC and 2003/11EC.
