The Comptus Silicon Pyranometer measures both direct and diffuse insolation. The pyranometer output responds to the cosine of the angle between the sensor and the light source. The signal from the sensor is scaled by the signal conditioner to provide the desired output. The system should only be used to monitor natural sunlight. Contact the factory regarding other light sources. The A70 Series provides an analog signal output proportional to the phenomenon being monitored at an economical cost.
