Long-reach shackles are designed for construction applications requiring extended reach to attach to pick points, with a working load limit ranging from 7,000 to 50,000 lbs. Available in screw pin or bolt/nut/cotter styles, they are forged from alloy steel and marked with their working load limit on the body. They meet ASME B30.26 requirements but must not be side loaded or point loaded, and 80% of the pin must be covered to achieve full capacity. Finished in self-colored or orange powder-coated options, they conform to a 5:1 design factor.
