Hammerlok® components are drop-forged alloy steel attachments used to connect Grade 80 chain branches to master links and hooks in overhead lifting slings. They comply with ASTM A952 standards and have a 4:1 design factor. Working load limits range from 2,100 to 72,300 lbs, with sizes from 7/32 in. to 1-1/4 in. matching corresponding chain dimensions. They are not for chain repair or splicing and must be matched to chain size. The Weblok™ assembly variant features a double load pin retention system, orange powder coating, and meets ASTM A952 and WSTDA-RS1 standards with a 5:1 design factor, but this variant is distinct from the standard Hammerlok®.
