The EVP series proportional control valves are 2-way valves designed for precise air or gas flow control in applications such as analytical instruments, ventilators, and blood pressure monitoring. This model features a 0.013" orifice, operates with a 0 to 10 VDC input signal, and has a maximum operating pressure of 100 psig. The valve uses a single moving part for long life and low power consumption of 1.9 watts at 72°F. It is available in in-line or manifold mounting configurations with a #10-32 female inlet and outlet. Standard seal material is nitrile, with EPDM and FKM options. The physical dimensions are 1.560" long, 0.875" wide, and 0.500" high for the in-line mount. The valve outputs flow proportional to input current and supports PWM control.
Clippard is pleased to offer the EVP Series Proportional Control Valve as part of our Electronic Valve product line. This product combines the features of the existing EV series valve—long life, low power, and Clippard's reputation for high quality components—with the additional capability of proportional control. The EVP series valve provides air or gas flow control, and varies the output flow based on the current input to the solenoid. The consistent gain of this valve provides a high degree of control for many applications.
