FEATURES: SlimFlex Step Jaws are designed especially for horizontal machining centers, to allow clear access from 3 sides when machining small workpieces. These versatile jaws have sliding step inserts that can be easily adjusted to the workpiece's width with the help of the integral scale (workpiece needs to extend slightly wider than the step inserts to allow machining the entire surface of both sides). These sliding inserts are reversible, to provide both a high and a low step. Soft blank steel inserts are also available. SlimFlex Step Jaws allow clamping rectangular workpieces up high in the vise without using parallel blocks, providing tool clearance between the workpiece and the vise bed. Steps are precision ground to maintain accurate vertical and horizontal location. Use Slimflex Step Jaws only in pairs.

MOUNTING: Fasten to the vise with two Socket-Head Cap Screws (furnished with vise).
