A flexibly designed automatic screwdriver head that can be fitted with a screwdriver with an offset gearbox and allows a side to center clearance. We have been making this drive head since 1990.
Carlson Engineering automated screw driving machines are designed to work with a screwfeeder or step feeder, and assist in your assembly automation fastening process by advancing the screw or screws to your product, stopping above it, and then advancing the bit driving the screw or screws to torque or depth. Carlson automatic feed screwdriver systems can be fitted with almost any brand of screwdriver on the market today.
As a Type 1, this drive head is dual-stage device with 2 independently operating travel slides & corresponding Jaw and Bit strokes, making hard to reach areas accessible.
Due to the flexibility and slim design of the SlimDrive model, there is a great side to center clearance which allows more flexibility in screwdriving applications.
The SlimDrive Type 1 Drive Head is intended for use with a blow-feed automatic screwfeeder and can also be configured to drive bolts, pins, rivets, set-screws, and more.
