CITGO's Special Lactolite is a low-boiling aliphatic solvent consisting primarily of C6-C8 hydrocarbons. This product is a clear, colorless, flammable liquid that is miscible with most organic solvents and it has a characteristic light aliphatic odor. It is hydrotreated to reduce aromatics and olefins to a very low level.
