CECOR Air Operated Sump Cleaner, 60 Gallon SA5-60PL

Description
The 60-gallon Sump Shark sump cleaner was designed for cleaning smaller machine tool sumps in shops with limited space. The Shark’s vertical design allows it to squeeze into tight spots, through crowded aisles and around corners. The SA5-60PL is easily pushed by one person. Fork pockets allow easy transport by fork truck. Although small, the Sump Shark’s power can compete with the bigger sumpcleaners. The air-operated venturi generates suction to 26” Hg or 350” water and a pumping rate of 70 gpm. The Shark sucks fluid, chips and sludge out of a sump in minutes. With twice the power as most wet/dry vacs, the Sump Shark can remove the heaviest of sludge from the bottom of a sump. The CECOR patented filter catches metal chips, fines and sludge. Two way pumping means after emptying the sump, you can pump coolant back to machine tool or transport for central recycling. Increasing costs for the purchase and disposal of coolant have made extending the life of coolant crucial to most metalworking operations. The Sump Shark is priced to be affordable to even the smallest machine shop. And the air-operated Sump Shark has no moving parts to break and is easy to operate. Safety First CECOR is the only sump cleaner to offer a three-step system to prevent overpressurization for air units. 1. Pressure Regulator – controls the operating pressure (6 psi) set at factory. 2. Pressure Relief Valve – goes off at 8 psi (loud, unmufflered sound) alerting operator 3. Rupture Disk – Shuts the unit off at 15 psi CECOR units come with a pressure gauge. Many other sump cleaners don’t. We believe it’s important to understand what is going on inside the tank and how your Sump Shark is performing. Quality Components We oversize the wing nuts used to secure the pot lid on top of the SA5-60PL and add a thick 1/2 inch gasket for added safety and durability. The round tank is easier to clean (no corners where dirt is trapped). The 1-1/2” clean out port makes it easy to clean. The SA5-60PL Sump Shark sump cleaner’s vertical design allows it to squeeze into tight spots, through crowded aisles and around corners. Fork pockets allow easy transport by fork truck. Operates on plant air supply High suction lift sucks out everything in the sump – chips, fines and fluid Same power as larger air unit, but in smaller package Full Specs Series: SA5 Tank: 60 Gal (227 L) Standard Transport: PL - Push/lift Pump: Air-operated Venturi Suction Lift: 26" Hg (Mercury) or 350" (9 meters) water Standard Filter: F10 - 1 cu. ft. standard (see options for other sizes) Cleanout Port 2-1/2" drain port in bottom of tank for easy clean-out Pressure Discharge: 6 PSI with safety backup valve Overfill Prevention: Automatic overfill protection, all discharge ports are valved. Air Requirements for Optimal Performance: Air runs of 3/4" or larger and verticals (drops) of 3/8" or more.
