Busch Vacuum Solutions Dry-Running Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump/Compressor Seco DC 0025 / 0040 C

Description
Application oriented: ideal for paper handling in printing presses and post press processing machines Dry-running: self-lubricating long life high performance vanes, no oil to fill, drain, change or discard Easy maintenance: lifetime-lubricated bearings, service kit on-site, standard tools Economical: low energy consumption, cost-effective maintenance, long life high performance vanes Compact: direct-drive construction Seco DC rotary vane pumps/compressors were developed specifically for paper handling in printing presses and post-press processing equipment. They provide a reliable vacuum supply to hold, move or transport paper. Blast air is also generated to separate individual sheets of paper from a stack. Seco DC ensures vacuum levels exactly matched to the requirements of printing presses and post-press processing machines, and may be adjusted for throughput speed and paper quality. The blast air may also be set to allow optimal transition of sheets through the machines. An internal secondary inlet allows the vacuum and blast air supplies to operate independently. The blast air is cooled by an integrated heat exchanger. The defining characteristics of Seco DC are completely oil-free vacuum and blast air generation, high availability and outstanding reliability. These characteristics are ensured by highly resilient and self-lubricating special graphite rotor vanes, robust construction and lifetime-lubricated bearings. The compact dimensions of Seco units allow them to be easily connected or installed almost anywhere. Maintenance may be carried out by the user – apart from visual inspection and the replacement of vanes and filter elements at the recommended intervals, no servicing is required. The latest generation of rotor vanes has an operating lifetime up to three times longer than vanes constructed of conventional materials.
