Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. iTaq SYBR Green Supermix With ROX 172-5853

Description
2,000 x 50 µl reactions, real-time PCR mix for use on ROX-dependent optical thermal cyclers, 2x mix contains dNTPs, iTaq DNA polymerase, 6 mM Mg2+, SYBR Green I, ROX reference dye iTaq™ SYBR® Green supermix with ROX is a 2x ready-to-use reaction mix, formulated to deliver maximum PCR efficiency and sensitivity, and robust fluorescent signal in real-time qPCR assays. This formula yields high performance with cDNA as well as genomic and plasmid DNA templates over a broad dynamic range, achieving sensitive and specific amplification over at least six orders of magnitude. This supermix is preblended with hot-start iTaq DNA polymerase, a proprietary buffer and stabilizer, nucleotides, an optimized SYBR® Green I dye that minimizes the potential for primer-dimer formation, and ROX passive reference dye to correct for interwell signal variation. It has been validated for use on all ROX-dependent optical thermal cyclers and with any real-time detection chemistry. Key Features and Benefits High specificity and convenience — the antibody-mediated, hot-start iTaq DNA polymerase enables specific and efficient primer extension with the convenience of room temperature reaction assembly Simple protocol — convenient one-tube formulation, preblended with optimized chemistries to ensure sensitive and accurate detection of low-abundance targets Effective across a broad range of concentrations — data illustrate excellent performance over several orders of magnitude Reliable and uniform results — data show consistency in generating uniform results with earlier threshold cycle (CT) values than other ROX-containing supermixes Applications and Uses PCR and real-time PCR analysis Nucleic acid amplification and expression profiling ROX-dependent real-time PCR detection Gene expression analysis Genotyping studies Genomics-related applications
