Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. DEAE Affi-Gel Blue Gel 153-7307

Description
100 ml, ready-to-use bifunctional affinity gel with Cibacron Blue F3GA dye covalently coupled to DEAE Bio-Gel A DEAE Affi-Gel Blue gel is a bifunctional affinity/ion exchange chromatography matrix prepared by coupling Cibacron blue F3GA and diethylaminoethyl groups to Bio-Gel A. The Cibacron blue F3GA functions as an ionic, hydrophobic, or sterically active binding site for proteins with dinucleotide folds, such as albumin. The diethylaminoethyl functional group acts as an anion exchanger and binds proteins with isoelectric points higher than the pH of the mobile phase. This bifunctionality allows you to obtain highly purified IgG from serum from a wide variety of species through carefully optimization of the ionic strength and pH of the application buffer. Key Features Single-step IgG purification from serum; the eluted IgG contains a small amount of transferrin (samples are diluted approximately 5-fold) No detectable proteolytic activity in the eluted IgG fraction Economical alternative to protein A affinity chromatography
