Pillow Plates are a type of heat exchanger plate made by welding two thin metal sheets together-typically using laser welding in a custom pattern-and then inflating them with high pressure to create a pillow-shaped, dimpled structure. This forms internal flow channels and an enlarged surface area for efficient heat transfer. Pillow Plates can be used individually or integrated into various equipment such as tank jackets, ice water banks, immersion-type chillers, or cooling walls.
