The Ex p control unit APEXmpc controls and monitors the purge and operating phase of pressurized motors which are protected according to ignition protection type pxb.
The parameters are set via the integrated WEB interface or the optionally available p operator panel. The APEXmpc has two enable relays, one with voltage and one with potential-free contacts. In addition, 2 signal relays with one changeover contact each are available.
Three PT100/1000 inputs are available for temperature monitoring of the Ex p protected equipment. These can be assigned up to 3 switching values.
In APEXmpc all necessary components for setting up the Ex pxb monitoring and purging gas valves are integrated.
In addition, the following components are required for setting up an overall control system:
- Outlet "Motor Purge Valve - mpv".
- Optionally, a p operator panel can be connected
The Ex p control unit SILASmpc is the equivalent Ex p control unit for zone 2/22.
