The RJ45 Plug Connector (P/N 110506) from PIC Wire & Cable is designed for use with Cat 5e and Cat 6 cables, accommodating conductors with an outer diameter range of 0.044 to 0.048 inches. This shielded connector exceeds ANSI/TIA/EIA Cat 5 performance standards and is performance-tuned for Cat 6 applications. It supports a current rating of 1.5 Amps at 30 VAC/42 VDC, with a maximum contact resistance of 10 milliOhms.
Constructed with a polycarbonate plug housing and brass shielding, the connector is rated for a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and can withstand 1000 insertion/extraction cycles.
