The 3420 is a recessed dock lift for dock-to-ground access, handling pallet jacks and small fork trucks. It has a 72-inch wide by 144-inch long safety tread platform with removable guardrails and bevel toe guards per ANSI MH 29.1. Maximum lifting capacity is 12,000 lbs, with axle capacities of 9,600 lbs at the ends and 8,400 lbs on the sides. It lifts at 7 feet per minute with a 58-inch travel stroke from a 15-inch lowered height. Power is provided by a 5 HP, 230V, 60 Hz, 3-phase motor in a NEMA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X pendant control station. The power unit measures 26 wide x 22 long x 21 high inches and weighs approximately 5,300 lbs with the lift. Dual chrome-plated hydraulic rams operate via ISO-46 group II oil. Concrete preparation and installation are required but not supplied.
