AudioSeal™ Drop Tile Ceiling Barrier is made up of a 1/8" thick layer of mass loaded vinyl material weighing one pound per square foot that is coupled with a 1" or 2" thick layer of acoustical fiberglass with a metallic scrim facing. This soundproofing product has a STC (sound transmission classification) rating of 29 and is designed to significantly reduce the amount of sound that is carried up and into plenum ceiling areas. It is available by the roll (54"x 30') or in 2'x 2' and 2'x 4' squares to fit over existing drop tile ceiling tiles.
